Wolverhampton Trams
Dr Paul Collins makes a return visit to complete his talks on Black Country trams. The presentation will be fully illustrated and devoted to the era of trams in and around Wolverhampton.

Tuesday, October 18th:
Henry VIII
John White BSc is a Performance Historian, Consultant, Technical Advisor and also a member of Equity. He will produce on stage, in costume, the style and era of Henry VIII.

Tuesday, November 15th :
The History of RAF Cosford
This evening's presentation is by Squadron Leader Graham Lee from RAF Cosford. He will give a very full, illustrated account of the development and history of the Cosford base from 1939 to the present day.

Tuesday, December 20th:
The Ironbridge Gorge
Our stalwart, Brian Draper, gives another of his excellent presentations, this time on the Ironbridge Gorge and its museums.

Tuesday, January 17th:
The Titanic
In this the centenary year of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, Andrew Loundes BSc, broadcaster and historian, returns to give a sensational dramatisation of the last hours of the liner.


Tuesday, February 21st:
The Professional Approach to Metal Detecting
John Wall is secretary of the Bloxwich metal detecting and research unit who gives an illustrated talk on this ever-developing and interesting subject.

March: No Meeting due to the Arts Festival

Tuesday, April 17th:
History of the old Jewish Cemetery in Wolverhampton
The Heritage Project Officer, Martin Rispin MSc, while employed by Wolverhampton City Council, examined and documented the relatively unknown old Jewish Cemetery in the city. He will talk on his findings and give illustrations. Very few people have heard of it and even fewer know where it is.

Tuesday, May 15th:
Pottery in History
John and Annette Christrophers from Albrighton Pottery, tell us about the history of pottery. Members of the audience will be encouraged to do a little clay modelling.

Saturday, July 7th:
Summer Trip with Brian Draper MBE
Round Bredon Hill and villages in the Cotswolds
